Dear BCFA Family and Friends,
The safety and well-being of all our exhibitors, members, staff, and supporters is extremely important to the Brazoria County Fair Association. We have always strived to create fun, family-oriented events, while at the same time providing a safe environment. This year, out of an abundance of caution regarding COVID-19 concerns, our Officer Team and Staff have been in close communication with our County Officials. Collectively, we have determined that a traditional fair will not be a viable option this year.
Our mission statement is as follows:
The Brazoria County Fair Association’s purpose is to provide opportunities for Brazoria County Youth to gain educational experiences through exhibition of livestock, art, science, rodeo, and other youth-related projects. These experiences provide an opportunity for youth to gain financial support for higher education through the sales of these projects and through the BCFA Scholarship program.
BCFA certainly plans on upholding our duty and mission as expressed from our founders. We are jointly working on a modified plan to assist the youth exhibitors with their investments.
Once final arrangements have been secured, we will make “The Modified Plan” available to all. Please follow all our social media and subscribe to our website for updates.
Memories: Remembering the Old and Creating the new. We will definitely miss seeing everyone this year, but public safety will always come first.
How can you assist? Visit our website to inquire about becoming a sponsor, buyer or joining a committee or buyers’ group. We will need everyone to pull together for the benefit of the goal: Our future leaders, the Youth of Brazoria County.
Darrel Bagley, President
Brazoria County Fair Association
