It’s Washington County Fair time! The fair runs September 11- 19, 2020 at the fairgrounds on FM 577 (Blue Bell Rd.) between Highways 36 and 105 in Brenham, Texas. For 2020, the fair will be a youth project event that caters to our local youth. We hope you understand this decision and hope to have our full fair schedule in 2021!
Established in 1868, the Washington County Fair is the first county fair held in Texas! They host a variety of events at the annual fair in September which includes concerts, rodeos, livestock shows, arts and craft shows, special attractions, carnival, commercial exhibits and more. There’s something here for everyone!
The fairgrounds are located on FM 577 (Blue Bell Rd.) between Highways 36 and 105 on 50 acres. We have ample parking for all visitors and participants. While in Washington County, you can enjoy a county filled with history, tradition, and beauty. After all, Washington County is the “Birthplace of the Texas Republic” and hosts “THE OLDEST COUNTY FAIR IN TEXAS.”
